Unlike most financial courses, this multidimensional workshop focuses on integrating strategy, management and finance through real simulations that allow learning tools that are applicable to your organization. The goal of this workshop is to enhance your critical thinking the following areas: – Financial and analytical skills when applied to business and financial strategy – Ability to understand and validate the fundamental assumptions inherent in financial valuation and modeling, and the strategic “bets” that are part of those models – Ability to evaluate whether business strategy is focused on enterprise value creation and supported by the company’s financial structure and strategy.

Ronald Rizzuto is an award-winning Professor of Finance in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver an Endowed Professor in International Executive Education. He designs Executive Education programs globally and he teaches courses in capital expenditure analysis, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and strategic finance. Rizzuto’s book, Managing By The Numbers: A Common Sense Guide To Understanding And Using Your Company’s Financials, is a highly acclaimed in the finance world.
Randel Lewis is an award-winning adjunct professor at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver, teaching the graduate level capstone course in strategy and finance. Lewis is an executive coach and a strategy consultant, and a regular contributor to executive and continuing education programs. He has extensive experience in mentoring clients and serves as a mediator, expert witness, consultant and a court-appointed fiduciary for distressed business. Lewis is also a guest lecturer at the Strum College of Law, University of Denver.
